A steady and safe way to build your future!
Community First Bank offers a variety of certificate savings plans at competitive market rates to all levels of savers. Certificates of Deposit are available for personal or business customers and are designed to reward depositors who
can deposit funds and leave them on deposit for a specific length of time. CDs offer you peace of mind and great
earnings potential, without risking what you worked hard to save. Most of our CDs require a minimum deposit
of $1,000. Please check our weekly CD Specials which may require higher minimum opening balance and may offer
higher rates of interest.
Minimum Deposit: $100,000
Terms 30 days to 1 year
The interest rate earned on Certificates is fixed for the term of the deposit. Please see our Interest Rate Table for the
current interest rate yields earned for various terms on this account. CD Interest is compounded and credited to your
account quarterly. On all balances of $10,000 and over, interest can be paid monthly into an account or by check.
Rates are subject to change at the discretion of the bank. A substantial penalty may be assessed for early withdrawal.
Your deposits are fully insured if you or your family's deposit accounts at this FDIC-Insured Institution total $250,000
or less. If you or your family has more than $250,000 at Community First Bank, you can still be fully insured if your
accounts meet certain requirements. You can use EDIE (see below) to determine your insurance coverage beyond
the basic $250,000 amount.

EDIE is designed to allow even novice computer users the ability to get accurate statements of deposit insurance coverage. Click here to go to the EDIE site.
